About Me

I thought it would be interesting to show some of the Card structures that were constructed for
Card-DI-ology and when possible to show some of the methods used for constructing the structures.

Most (but not all) of the teams at Global Finals constructed their structures using Glue.  They determined that they could score higher using glue and give up the 15 point bonus than they could without using glue.

We only have a few pictures at this time.  If you would like to contribute a picture and an explanation of your construction technique then please email the webmaster at distructurewebmaster@texasdi.org

Martin High School SL - TX Martin High School built a very traditional looking structure by rolling cards into tight tubes.  The braces were made the same way.

Ridglea Hills Elementary - TX Ridglea Hills Elementary constructed a structure that was 3 self standing columns.  Each column was made up of 3 separate stacks of rolled cards.  (Photo is of the structure after testing)
